About The Role

As an Admin Assistant, you will support the Accounting Team by assisting both the Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, enhance your accounting skills, and contribute to the smooth flow of financial processes within the company.

Key Responsibilities

General Support:

  • Assist in data entry, record-keeping, and maintaining financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Help ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and filed according to company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners regarding financial documentation and follow-ups.

Accounts Payable (A/P) Support:

  • Help document invoices from providers, as well as compile expense reports and reimbursement requests.
  • Assist in preparing payment schedules and processing vendor payments.

Accounts Receivable (A/R) Support:

  • Prepare invoices to clients and partners.
  • Track and update customer payments, ensuring account records are accurate.
  • Assist in reconciling customer accounts and following up on outstanding balances.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Help gather and organize financial records for audits and compliance requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end reporting by compiling necessary documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes (coursework or relevant experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace (experience with financial software is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
