J-Channel Ingredients Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IMPEX SPECIALIST to join our growing team. As an IMPEX Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of imported goods into our company.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the import process, from sourcing suppliers to coordinating shipments and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Prepare and submit accurate documentation for import and export shipments, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other customs-related paperwork.
Manage customs procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and working with customs brokers to facilitate the smooth movement of goods.
Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution of imported and exported goods, including booking shipping containers, arranging for customs clearance, and tracking shipments in transit.
Identify and source reliable suppliers of imported goods, negotiate prices and terms, and manage relationships with international vendors.
Stay informed about changes in import/export regulations, ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and standards, and manage potential risks associated with international trade.
Identify and resolve issues that arise during the import/export process, such as delays, damage to goods, customs disputes, and other unforeseen challenges.

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in an IMPEX role or in a related field.
Strong understanding of international trade law, logistics, and customs procedures.
Experience with import/export documentation and customs clearance.
Knowledge of international shipping and transportation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software programs.
Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong work ethic.
