We are currently looking for an Accounting Associate (WFH) to support our client based in the US.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate handles invoice and payment processing to ensure timely and accurate transactions. This entry-level role supports financial accuracy and vendor payment schedules, requiring attention to detail, organization, and basic accounting knowledge.


Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and input invoices into the accounting system. Ensure that all invoices and staff reimbursements are paid accurately and by company policies.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Prepare and perform check runs.
  • Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or queries related to invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and prepare analysis of accounts as required.
  • Maintain accurate historical records by filing documents promptly.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and ensure payments are up to date. Adhere to all internal controls and policies to provide financial security.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in an accounts payable role.
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in Dynamics 365.
  • Strong numerical skills for handling financial transactions and reconciliations.
