Enterprise Sales Consultant – Cloud & Infrastructure


Job Purpose:

Drive sales growth and business development for cloud and infrastructure solutions by engaging with enterprise clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored IT solutions. Work alongside the sales and pre-sales teams to provide technical and strategic sales expertise.


Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities for cloud and infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients and key decision-makers.
  • Drive revenue growth by effectively positioning cloud and infrastructure services.

2. Solution Selling & Technical Collaboration:

  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver customized solutions based on client needs.
  • Present and demonstrate cloud and infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Provide consultative selling, addressing business challenges with IT solutions.

3. Market Expansion and Strategy:

  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to maximize opportunities and market penetration.
  • Identify and collaborate with industry partners, vendors, and resellers to enhance solution offerings.

4. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Conduct customer needs assessments and align solutions to their business requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term client relationships.

5. Reporting & Sales Forecasting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline and performance.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions and track sales progress.



Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 4-6 years in enterprise sales, specifically in cloud and IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven track record in selling cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), IT infrastructure, and networking solutions.
  • Experience working alongside pre-sales, technical, and sales teams.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as networking, storage, and virtualization.
  • Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Sales & Consulting Skills:
  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical solutions into business value for enterprise clients.
  • Strategic thinker with experience in market development and competitive analysis.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving technology landscape.
  • Preferred Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Vendor certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Cisco certifications are a plus.
