Business Development Executive


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic business development executive with a strong background in freight logistics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.


  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the freight logistics sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a business development executive or in a similar role in the freight logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the freight logistics sector, including market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • High level of motivation, persistence, and a positive attitude.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, logistics, or a related field
  • Additional qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field will be an advantage.
