- Operates and maintains heavy machinery to move materials and complete construction projects
- Operate heavy machinery like bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Inspect and maintain equipment
- Perform basic repairs
- Load and unload cargo
- Move materials to storage areas
- Follow safety procedures
- Report needs for larger repairs
- Communicate with coworkers
- Ensure projects are completed accurately

- Strong hand and foot coordination
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team
- Strong critical thinking ability
- High attention to detail
- Physical ability to work a strenuous work environment
- Strength to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively
- Experience working with different equipment and vehicles
- Background knowledge of different job sites
