Define the data requirements and structure for the application. Model and design the application data structure, storage and integration.

Job Description: Must have:

Should be experienced with Data Management and Data Governance topics such as Data Lineage, Data Quality, … Especially needs to be able to keep an eye on the data mappings and project proceedings and step in when the principles are not being followed.

Experience with Data Modeling. In our case we are mostly using a standard data model, which means the Data Modeling knowledge needs to be applied to make sure that Data is mapped correctly according to the standard, Data Model enhancements are requested and discussed with the vendor and use of customer extensions is limited and follows the data modeling practices of the standard model.

Very good SQL knowledge needed, since our ETL solution is a custom template based SQL execution engine.

Able to coordinate with the external software vendor regarding issues and enhancement requests of the data platform

Able to work with engineering teams across different tech stacks (SAP ABAP, SQL based ETL and Golang based interface software). This doesn’t mean actual skills in all of these technologies, but ability to come up with and communicate requirements and bridge the gap between the different components in the architecture. Nice to have:

Previous exposure to S/4HANA based applications

Experience in Banking industry, especially Regulatory Reporting Minimum 7 year(s) of experience is required
