Descrição:

Baken is expanding its distribution footprint in the Philippines and is seeking a result-driven Sales Manager. The ideal candidates will have proven success in wholesale, e-commerce, and retail channels. This role will be based in Manila and may require occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and manage sales pipeline and provide accurate and timely reports.
  • Build, develop, maintain and grow strong relationships with our key accounts to ensure sales target achievement and company revenue growth.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth for the company.
  • Support sales negotiations and manage the new client onboarding process
  • Consult and liaise with appropriate marketing and promotional programs between our clients and the brand.
  • Provide professional and timely relationship-building outreach to customers.
  • Enhance industry knowledge to maximize business opportunities, generate leads, and acquire new customers.
  • Ensure sales campaigns are ROI-driven, learning-focused and aligned with our brand guidelines.
  • Develop, implement and improve sales processes and policies in collaboration with the business.
  • Responsible for customer due diligence and performance reviews.
  • Provide regular inventory, offtake and forecasting analysis on a by-channel, customer basis.
  • Co-lead with the S&M Head on managing third-party merchandising agency partners.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales track record, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in Modern Trade Key Accounts, HORECA, travel retail and export markets is a plus.
  • Strong ability to build and present professional sales pitches, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and securing new business, with a focus on value-based selling.
  • Initiative-driven, capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented. An action-driver with a positive attitude.
  • Fluency in English (written, verbal and presentation).
  • Inquisitive about international and regional food trends. Appreciative to cosmopolitan and affluent lifestyles.
  • Experience in SAP is an advantage.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft 365.
  • Willing to travel as the role is 80% field-based.
