Description
- Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism.
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas by checking identification and ensuring proper authorization.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, taking appropriate action when necessary.
- Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Conduct regular security checks on doors, windows, and entry points.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.
- Valid security license or certification (if required by local regulations).
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
