Description

Marketing Assistant plays a key support role within a marketing team by helping to implement marketing strategies and campaigns. They assist with various tasks such as content creation, social media management, event coordination, and market research.

The Marketing Assistant works closely with team members and departments to ensure brand consistency and the smooth execution of marketing initiatives. Their work helps the company reach its target audience, promote products or services, and enhance overall brand presence.


General:

  • Sales and Marketing Support
  • Checks e-mails
  • Answers telephone calls
  • Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing


Marketing:

  • Aids in the planning and conceptualizing of innovative promotional activities and campaigns
  • Create and edit marketing content including social media posts, email newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Maintain and update marketing databases, contact lists, and content libraries
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies
  • Help organize marketing events, exhibits, and product launches
  • Supports the Sales department and the management in their decision-making by providing all necessary data and analysis such as but not limited to sales performance, historical sales data
  • Performs other marketing-related functions as may be assigned

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or administrative support role
  • Familiarity with marketing software and tools
  • Familiarity with Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with content creation and social media management is a plus
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
