THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner, a leading provider of private rehabilitation centers and co-located clinics within aged care facilities across Australia, is seeking a dedicated IT Support officer to join their team! Renowned for offering a comprehensive range of allied health services, they stand out as one of the few allied health groups in Australia actively conducting research within their clinics, promoting a holistic, client-centered approach to treatment.

As the IT Support Officer, you will play a key role in providing first-line technical support to employees and customers via phone, email, chat. Reporting directly to the Australia-based manager, you will ensure seamless workflow and facilitate effective collaboration between onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees and customers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Install and configure computer systems.
  • Provide staff with training on IT-related topics.
  • Maintain IT service desk system.
  • Procure computer hardware and equipment from approved vendors.
  • Document all technical support interactions.
  • Ensure adequate documentation of the systems is kept and is up to date.
  • Prepare any reports as requested.


Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT or Applications support. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, Google Workspace, Microsoft, and other common software applications.
  • SalesForce experience is nice to have.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent in written and oral communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid work ethic, positive attitude, and openness to learning
