POSITION OVERVIEW

The Employee Relations team serves as a bridge between Human Resources and Legal. The Analyst of Employee Relations (based in Manila) will provide support to the Employee Relations team, located in the US, in connection with managing intake, assignment, and closure of shipboard and shoreside employee concerns submitted through the Aware Hotline. This individual will also support the Employee Relations team in a variety of initiatives. The Analyst will be required to report in person to RCG’s Philippines office during regular working hours. At times, the Analyst may be required to attend meetings with the team during US (Miami-EST) time zone work hours. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with intake, assignment, and monitoring of HR-related AWARE hotline reports and Union grievances.

  • Provide support with information gathering and preparing documentation in connection with HR-related AWARE hotline reports and Union grievances, in order to ensure thorough investigations and proper closure.

  • Interact with HR teams in connection with employee relation reports and investigations.

  • Provide support on employee relations and HR compliance projects and initiatives, such as HR related trainings, facilitating changes in employment policies and practices, and other projects as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree or college graduate

  • Experience in relevant field or Human Resources preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to positively influence and build strong employee relationships across different cultures and geographies.

  • Commitment to professionalism, timelines, accuracy, and follow-through.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
