Assists the VPAA (Vice President for Academics) in monitoring faculty attendance and ensures that all classes are met.
Assists the VPAA in ensuring that faculty loading and contracts are properly managed
Oversees faculty evaluation
Calendars all room/lab reservations for make-up/advance classes and school & students’ activities (always check the class schedules to avoid conflicts)
Forwards to Registrar’s Office all the signed forms such as Change of Grade, Midterm and Final Grades.
Prepares Faculty Load Form and forward to HR Dep’t. All the signed forms.
Program
Assists the VPAA in the review and finalization of the program checklists in coordination with the deans, chairs, and program coordinators.
Monitors syllabi submissions
Assists the VPAA in course adjustments (dropping, adding, and changing of schedules).
Prepares the final examination schedule in coordination with the Deans, Chairs, and Program Coordinators
Assists in the enrollment.
Students
Assists the VPAA in monitoring individual students’ performance and in the implementation of the policies on retention, ineligibility, dropping, adjustment, leave of absence, late enrollment, NSTP requirement, and similar academic policies, and recommends to the VPAA the necessary action related to them.
Assists the VPAA in screening shiftees and student returnees for final approval by the VPAA
Administrative
Provides administrative support to the VP for Academic Affairs
Manages the academic budget monitoring system
Manages the faculty attendance monitoring system
Manages the student movement monitoring system
Prepares request of monthly payment for mobile phone (Academics service unit)
Assists in the Faculty Orientation Meeting
Facebook Group Page - Academics Department Announcements
Makes and monitors announcements in the FB Academics Department Announcement group regarding the following:
Cancellation/suspension of classes, make-up/advance classes, change of classrooms, faculty absences, schedule of events, exam dates, and project deadlines.
The Academics Department Announcements Group will only accommodate students as members in the group if they are officially enrolled (in this regard there is a need for consultation with the Registrar’s Office as regards the students’ enrollment)

Any Bachelor's degree
Preferably has previous experience handling administrative work
Excellent organizing and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and deliver outputs with minimal supervision is often needed
Good oral and written communication skills
Prior experience or familiarity working in an academic setting
