As the Tax Manager, you will lead and oversee the end-to-end tax compliance and planning for five companies (3 active, 2 dormant). Your role will be critical in ensuring the accurate and timely filing of all monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns while driving continuous improvement in tax strategy, compliance, and reporting.

• Facilitate, manage, and review all tax returns before submission and payment.
• Ensure accurate, on-time tax payments and filing of related statutory reports.
• Guarantee full tax compliance across all companies/principals in accordance with Philippine regulations.
• Lead and update the tax team on the latest tax laws, regulations, and compliance updates.
• Manage and facilitate BIR tax audits including preparation of responses, validating supporting documents, and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Draft and implement tax strategies and internal tax policies to maximize efficiency and minimize risks.
• Identify potential tax issues and proactively recommend solutions.
• Establish and maintain strong internal tax controls and procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors to review audit findings and craft effective resolutions.
• Lead, coach, and develop individual tax staff under each principal, enhancing team performance and engagement.

• Licensed CPA or Lawyer (required)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in taxation within the logistics or shipping industry
• Strong background in tax compliance, planning, and audit management
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
