The E-commerce Platform Officer manages the day-to-day operations of Vanity Connections’ online stores selling in and out of platform(s). He/she ensures smooth functionality, product listings of all products. He/she is responsible for back-end setup of organic and non-organic activations in relation to seasonality and product life cycle stage as directed by management.
Job Responsibilities:
Platform Management: Oversees online platforms ensuring products’ search is within management’s direction, products have competitive pricing and keeps an eye for product and industry trends which may affect buying behavior(s).
Product Listings: Create, update and optimize product listings with accurate descriptions, images and pricing.
Customer Monitoring: Tracks new and repeat customers in relation to product performance and analyze trends
Inventory Management: Suggests inventory levels and triggers purchase orders within the team
Coordination; Works closely with partner brands, sales & marketing team, fulfillment and logistics
Platform Optimization: Suggests improvements to enhance online stores’ platform presence to improve customer experience and increase online traffic.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Experience in managing e-commerce platforms is a plus
Moderate adaptability skills to cope with changing e-commerce needs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
