We are looking for a Product Development Manager to oversee the end-to-end development of innovative products, ensuring alignment with market trends, company objectives, and customer expectations.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

• Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, production, and R&D, to conceptualize, design, and execute new product initiatives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps to inform product development strategies.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.
• Oversee product testing and quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
• Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts to optimize cost and quality.
• Prepare business cases for new product proposals, including financial analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
• Monitor and analyze product performance, gathering customer feedback and market insights to guide improvements and future developments.
• Drive process improvements within the product development cycle to enhance efficiency and innovation.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in product offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product development, project management, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing, consumer goods, or technology industries.
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading projects from ideation to completion.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess market trends and translate them into actionable product strategies.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing budgets.
• Proficiency in product lifecycle management tools and software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards related to the industry is a plus.
