The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves preparing financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in strategic planning. The Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the financial health and efficiency of the business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide insights for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger activities.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Manage cash flow and assist with treasury operations.
  • Support the Finance Manager in strategic financial analysis and projects.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Help lead and mentor junior accounting and finance staff.
  • Participate in system and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and controls.

Persyaratan

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred or in progress).

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
  • Analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Additional Requirements (optional, depending on company/industry):

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and corporate finance practices.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages may be beneficial.
