Why does this role exist?


Get ready to take charge and make magic happen as you step into the role of VA Team Lead (internally: Account Lead), managing a team of virtual assistants (VAs). You'll be responsible for maintaining and growing the company’s clients and overseeing a team of virtual assistants (EAs). You are also responsible to create a flourishing work environment for assistants to excel and grow as an individual. Help EAs excel and retain with their clients for as long as possible.


Interface with Clients & Assistants - assistants are your main priority, and you’ll help regulate the relationship between the client and assistant. 


The Impact you’ll make:


Leadership & Development

  • Coach Assistants in delivering high-quality support, from calendar management to executive communication
  • Create and implement personalized development plans for each Assistants 
  • Track and improve key performance metrics including response times and client satisfaction
  • Foster best practices in task management, prioritization, and professional communication


Client Success Management

  • Partner with clients to optimize Assistant performance and workflow efficiency
  • Conduct regular check-ins to ensure assistant services align with client needs
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for key assistant functions
  • Manage smooth transitions during team changes or service expansions


Team Excellence

  • Build a collaborative environment where assistants share knowledge and best practices
  • Ensure assistants effectively use productivity tools and platforms
  • Align assistant performance with overall client objectives and company standards
  • Support assistants in developing specialized skills based on client industry needs


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


We're on the lookout for someone who has:

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) - you'll be collaborating with global teams daily
  • 3+ months of team leadership experience, preferably in remote management
  • Natural coach mindset - able to guide, motivate, and develop others
  • Creative problem-solver who thinks outside the box
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Resourceful approach to challenges - finding solutions where others see roadblocks
  • Expert at managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Requirements

What We Offer:


1. Starting Terms:


  • $3.50/hour, paid weekly via Deel
  • Freelance position (9 PM - 6 AM shift)
  • 2-week comprehensive training provided
