About the Role:


This role will be part of our amaysim team. We’re looking for a passionate analyst with strong business acumen and a desire to fully engage and partner with our sales and acquisition teams. Utilize our data assets from our own and 3rd party data sources to identify and enable business decisions for impactful outcomes.


You will become a key part of a cross-functional team, working in a collaborative environment in an Agile way to drive insights into action. A key part of the role is to work with a wealth of data assets from retail partners, sales/ activation, and affiliate partners, plus external data sources to ingest and analyze data to provide detailed insights and recommendations to teams across the business, with a predominant focus to drive sales and acquisition activities across multiple channels. You will be responsible for using data to advise on sales channel activities, discover new areas of improvement in the distribution, and develop a measurement framework to assess channel effectiveness.


This role would suit someone who has worked with Sales and marketing teams, with a strong analytical mindset and business acumen, and can come up with ideas to answer the challenges coming from our stakeholders.


What you'll focus on:


  • Deliver actionable recommendations through data and analytical deep dive
  • Monitor and report sales, activation, and churn activities regularly and investigate any abnormalities
  • Own and manage the pipeline of work requests to ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe
  • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from internal stakeholders
  • Work with cross-functional teams in an agile way of working to deliver actionable outcomes
  • Design and develop a framework to evaluate Channel and Partner effectiveness
  • Review and assess promotion effectiveness via customer deep-dive and post-promotion analysis
  • Correlate and monitor field team activities to sales impact
  • Analyse and monitor inventory control to optimize activities
  • Develop automated reports with key business indicators to provide continuous insights for business decisions
  • Working with ambiguous data with a strong ability for data wangling
  • Applying robust analytics techniques to deliver insights for actionable outcomes
  • Be a solution focus that goes beyond analyzing numbers
  • Stakeholder engagement from inception, and scoping to managing priorities, timelines, and delivery

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Overview:


Required:


  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, particularly in an organization that has a subscription customer base or with a supplier that works with such a client
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field, e.g., Statistics, IT, Commerce, Marketing, etc
  • Advanced statistical / Machine learning experience
  • Data Wrangling: demonstrated experience in end-to-end data analysis solution
  • Advanced programming in SQL
  • Stakeholder management, being able to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve high-quality deliverables driven by data
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Advanced reporting and dashboard experience (Tableau, Power BI or similar)
  • Workflow-driven analytics experience (Alteryx or similar)
  • Problem-solving skills using technologies to analyze data
