Job Overview
The Social Media and KOL Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, thought leadership and community building. In addition, you will manage relationships with key influencers (KOLs) to amplify our brand message, promote products, and enhance customer loyalty. This role requires a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to track and analyze campaign performance across platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, brand authority, engagement, lead generation and grow our community in the industry across all key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Content Strategy and Planning: Maintain a cohesive content calendar that aligns with overall business objectives, brand voice, values, and goals. Specific to B2B: Develop a content strategy that resonates with decision makers, focusing on thought leadership, case studies, white papers, blogs, webinars and product-focused content.
- Creation and Distribution: Ensure timely and effective content distribution across relevant channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and more.
- SEO & Content Optimization: Ensure content is optimized for SEO to improve search rankings and drive organic traffic. Use tools like Google Analytics to measure and optimize content performance.
- KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Relationship Management: Identify, engage, and manage strong relationships with relevant KOLs, influencers, and content creators to expand brand reach and credibility.
- Influencer Campaigns: Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns, including identifying campaign objectives, negotiating contracts, managing collaborations, and tracking performance.
- Community Engagement: Actively manage social media communities by engaging with followers, responding to comments, direct messages, and participating in relevant conversations to build a loyal online community.
- Brand Partnerships: Collaborate with KOLs and influencers on co-branded content, product launches, and promotional campaigns that align with our marketing objectives and target audiences.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media and KOL campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and other metrics to evaluate ROI and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Social Listening & Trendspotting: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms to ensure our brand remains relevant and takes advantage of new opportunities.
- Paid Social Media Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing paid social media campaigns to boost engagement and drive conversions, ensuring optimized targeting and ad performance.
Qualifications
What our Client is Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in social media, influencer marketing and content marketing, with a B2C and B2B environment
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, lead generation strategies, and content types that resonate with business decision-makers (case studies, white papers, product sheets, etc.).
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling content that speaks to a professional audience.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to create basic social media graphics and content.
- Experience with influencer and partnership marketing in a B2C and B2B context
