PCX began as a non-profit in the Philippines, one of the epicenters of the plastic pollution crisis. The company has enabled the clean up of 108 million kilograms of plastic waste globally. We are a global company with team members in the US, Argentina, the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore.


Today there are two entities. PCX Markets is a fully transparent plastic credit marketplace for audited, traceable plastic waste recovery and responsible processing worldwide. Our marketplace activates an ecosystem of partners who collect, transport and responsibly process plastic waste, which is tracked and verified through the power of blockchain technology, while supporting communities on the ground with programs that improve livelihoods and scale social impact. PCX Solutions is a non profit organization that works with governments around the world on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes; helps companies understand their plastic footprint, implement reduction strategies and comply with existing and upcoming legislation; and manages a fully transparent, third-party audited Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard to ensure the impact and responsibility of plastic waste projects, channeling funding into recycling infrastructure and increasing socio economic benefits for the communities.


Our business, impact and team is growing and expanding rapidly around the world, and we are seeking a talented, entrepreneurial Partner Marketing Manager to help accelerate our mission. This role is based in Manila, Philippines.


About the Role:

As our Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, engage key stakeholders, and position PCX Markets as a leader in sustainability. You will drive compelling storytelling across press, social media, and events, ensuring that our sustainability partners' impact is effectively communicated. Additionally, you will oversee PCX Markets’ social media strategy, content development, and brand positioning efforts. You will work closely with the PR & Communications Director to ensure alignment with broader marketing and communications strategies, leveraging digital and traditional channels to amplify our message.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and position PCX as a leader in sustainability. This includes digital marketing, content creation, campaign execution, and performance tracking across various channels.
  • Lead brand positioning efforts to strengthen PCX’s identity as a key player in sustainability, ensuring consistent messaging across PR, marketing, and partner communications.
  • Develop and implement integrated social media campaigns that highlight our partnerships, showcase impact stories, and drive engagement across multiple platforms.
  • Create compelling marketing content and assets, including social media toolkits, partner engagement materials, and brand guidelines for label/badge products to ensure consistency in external communications.
  • Plan, execute, and market PCX-led partner events, as well as lead outreach with organizers of key sustainability conferences to enhance brand visibility and industry influence.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute a cohesive brand and social media strategy, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate on digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing, paid media, and website content, to amplify PCX’s message and engage key audiences.


Requirements:

  • Passion for sustainable impact and ending plastic waste.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • 8–10 years of experience in public relations; journalism background is a strong plus.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to set strategy while remaining hands-on.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on brand positioning, audience engagement, and driving thought leadership in sustainability
  • Performance marketing experience, including data-driven campaign optimization and ROI measurement.
  • Experience in brand marketing, including developing brand guidelines and executing social media campaigns.
  • Startup experience is a strong advantage, requiring adaptability, resourcefulness, and execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, and written communication skills, including content creation (written/video).
  • Project management expertise, handling multiple projects simultaneously with a strong sense of ownership and execution.

Work Arrangement - Hybrid:

This role offers a hybrid model, combining the flexibility of remote work with weekly office presence for team integration. Additionally, it involves essential in-person meetings with PCX personnel and occasional in-person all-hands meetings. The nature of our global team will require you to participate in early morning or evening meetings from time to time.
