Description

We are seeking an HR Generalist to support the human resources department in implementing policies and procedures and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various HR functions, such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for supporting employees and building strong HR practices. 

Requirements

  • Oversee and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. 
  • Administer employee benefits and compensation packages, ensuring they align with company policies and industry standards. 
  • Assist in creating and implementing training programs to enhance employee development and performance. 
  • Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and conducting investigations as needed. 
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, staying updated on HR legal requirements. 
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 
  • Assist with performance management, setting goals, providing feedback, and managing appraisals. 
  • Support HR reporting and analytics to track and improve HR metrics. 
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and career development. 
  • Collaborate with department heads to address staffing needs and improve team efficiency. 


Minimum Skill Requirements

Education  

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. 

Experience 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a solid understanding of HR functions, labor laws, and HR best practices. 

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus. 
  • Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration. 
  • Familiarity with HR compliance and employment law. 
  • Experience with employee relations and conflict management. 

 Skills and Competencies 

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday). 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

 Other Requirements 

  • Willingness to travel within 1 hour of Clark.
