Role Overview

The Supply Chain Finance Director’s primary responsibility is to provide strategic management decision support to ensure changes in gross margins due to supply chain costs are explained and understood as influenced by both internal and external factors of the business environment. The objective is to provide understanding on cost behaviors to make production inputs work harder and more efficiently across the end-to-end Supply Chain operations, in order to deliver quality products on time with competitive costs, while ensuring compliance to the rules and policies of KOF.


The Supply Chain Finance Director works closely with the Supply Chain Make, Plan, and Source Teams with each of its Key Leaders and Executives. The partner also works along side with Commercial Finance Business partners for issues involving Supply Chain Costs affecting gross margin movements.


The Supply Chain Finance Director handling Supply Chain Projects and Procurement shall primarily provide decision support responsibility and work closely with Procurement team in managing commodities and all Procurement-managed costs in an effort to bring efficiencies for the business financial performance. With this, effectively this role also takes lead in ensuring COGS commentaries are in place. In addition, under the Supply Chain projects responsibility, this shall entail closely partnering with the various Supply chain teams (e.g. Projects Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, etc.) to manage overall capex spending, from budgeting until execution stage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operation & Strategic Support Leader: Provide financial leadership and business performance analysis tools to identify key financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities, recommend solutions & support initiatives including Cost management capabilities to Region Management.
  • Financial Information Owner: Accountable for and with full ownership of the accuracy & integrity of the financial information submitted by the Region (P&L, B/S, etc). Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of the required financial reports to Head Office, local authorities, Corporate Auditors, external auditors and other requirements. Ensure a Regional review process is in place for Actual and Forecasted Results prior to submission and to provide guidance were appropriate.
  • Internal Controls, Financial Policies and Procedures Custodian: Lead the development, implementation and measurement of strategic plans and participate in the successful execution. Responsible for maintaining the internal control environment in accordance with The Company’s standards while striving continuously to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness in processes and systems. Key driver of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiatives. Help to implement standardized accounting practices and policies.
  • People Resources and Organizational capabilities: Responsible for succession planning process, including training and development of finance associates within the Region. Responsible for continuously optimizing the structure and organization of finance.
  • Other tasks that may be assigned by the MUAD or Supply Chain Finance/Supply Chain Director.


Qualifications

  • At least 12-15 years in business partnering, preferably Finance Partnering role in supply chain functions
  • High analytical skills and business acumen – Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, etc.
  • Relevant Certification: CPA but not mandatory
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation Skills
