AVP FOR FINANCE
Location:
Cebu
Set-up: Mon-Fri (Morning Shift)
Responsible for overseeing financial planning, investment strategies, procurement governance, and fiscal operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and long-term sustainability. Plays a key role in optimizing financial performance, investment decisions, and risk management within the organization.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Oversight
- Formulate and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term goals.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis to guide executive decision-making.
Fiscal Governance & Compliance
- Supervise financial reporting, auditing, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital for operational continuity.
Investment & Capital Management
- Evaluate and manage capital investments, funding strategies, and financing options.
- Develop financial models for investment assessment and performance optimization.
- Coordinate with financial institutions and investors on funding requirements.
Procurement & Cost Efficiency
- Lead procurement planning, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Implement procurement policies ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop supplier evaluation frameworks to maintain operational efficiency.
Risk & Regulatory Adherence
- Ensure adherence to tax laws, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance governance.
- Collaborate with legal teams for contract and compliance management.
Revenue Optimization & Process Innovation
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Oversee revenue management strategies and performance metrics.
- Implement financial technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Expertise
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- CPA or CFA designation preferred; MBA is an advantage.
- 1215 years of experience in finance, investment, or accounting, with leadership exposure.
- Expertise in large-scale financial management, capital investments, and forecasting or inflation
Key Competencies
- Strong financial modeling, risk assessment, and investment analysis capabilities.
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., SEC, BIR, BSP).
- Proven leadership in finance teams, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
- Ability to integrate financial strategies with business growth and operational goals
