Job description

As the Facilities & Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in a medical manufacturing facility in Makati. Reporting to our Facilities and Maintenance Manager, this position will assist in leading the facilities and maintenance team to ensure the reliability and availability of all our production related equipment to achieve quality, operational and production objectives, through both preventative and reactive maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure plant and equipment is in optimum condition to achieve the operational requirements. This includes creating equipment maintenance work instructions & SOPs standardizing activities.
• Minimize downtime through coordinating equipment maintenance schedules and conducting maintenance tasks.
• Monitors & implements time-based verification, calibration & maintenance schedule.
• Using fault-finding and root cause analysis methodologies to accurately and efficiently identify the cause of the issues or failures.
• Assist maintenance technicians in carrying out troubleshooting activities in response to issues that slow or disrupt production.
• Engaging with maintenance service providers as needed to ensure effective support and collaboration where necessary.
• Maintaining control over maintenance tools, spare parts & equipment.
• Implementation of improvement activities to support operation efficiency and sustainability.
• Carrying out administrative tasks within the department.
• Maintains records of all implemented documents, service reports, certificates, etc.
• Liaise & collaborate with other departments to address manufacturing and facility issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering course
• PRC licensed Engineer
• Good in Oral and Written Communication
• Meticulous, well-organized and able to work in a team environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong innovative character
• Experienced in constructing maintenance related procedures and work instructions
• Knowledgeable in AutoCad 2D & 3D drawing generation
