Job Description

The Managing Director of foodpanda Philippines is looking to hire a leader for the MD office.

As the MD office leader, you will drive the most important cross-functional projects in the market, including those related to new market expansion, operational efficiency improvements, key partnerships, and strategic planning. You will drive performance by monitoring key metrics such as delivery times, customer satisfaction, and order growth. You will be the central point of contact and coordination, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across departments. You will also support the Managing Director (MD) and senior leadership on critical business initiatives and priorities.

Qualifications:

This role requires:

• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities. You should be able to adapt quickly and navigate shifting business needs without requiring a rigid structure.
• A high level of on-site presence to facilitate collaboration and close interaction with the team.
• The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while aligning with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

Ideally, you have ~5 years of proven experience in problem-solving, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and data analysis gained in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-speed startup. You have experience leading cross-functional teams to solve complex business challenges, a demonstrated ability to develop and implement structured project plans, and a proven ability to build consensus and influence decision-making at all levels.
