About the Role:

The Data Analyst will play a key role in utilizing tools such as Excel and SQL to provide reporting, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues for internal, cross-functional teams. Acting as a point of contact for all internal troubleshooting and service requests, this role will also serve as a liaison between the Customer Experience Department and the Product and Engineering teams. You’ll be responsible for supporting non-automated data processing, analysis, and creating bug or enhancement tickets while escalating issues as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Use Excel and SQL to generate reports, answer questions, and resolve data-related issues.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal troubleshooting and service requests.
• Act as a liaison between the Customer Experience Department and the Product/Engineering teams, providing data support and insights.
• Analyze and align data from various sources to ensure accuracy.
• Create bug or enhancement tickets and escalate issues when necessary.

What You Bring:

• Excel/Google Sheets: Proficiency in formulas like VLOOKUP, IF, AND/OR, and data manipulation (CONCAT, LEFT, MID, RIGHT).
• SQL: Ability to write and execute SELECT queries, including INNER JOINs.
• Data Management: Experience in handling and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with different teams across the organization.
• Understanding of Process Flows: Ability to understand and optimize workflows.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve data-related issues.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Zendesk Explore or other Business Intelligence tools.
• Basic knowledge of APIs and how they integrate with data systems.
• Familiarity with S3 or other data repository tools.
• Ability to work with various file formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.
