Description

  • Handle cash transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
  • Scan items, process payments, and provide receipts.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and transactions.
  • Ensure the register is balanced at the start and end of each shift.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies.
  • Follow all security procedures to prevent theft or fraud.
  • Work closely with other store staff to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and basic accounting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of store products and services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
