Job Title: Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Account

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: [ Bridgetowne Pasig City ]

Required Education: College Graduate (Any course)

Job Summary:

We are looking for detail-oriented and compassionate individuals to join our Healthcare BPO team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, assisting members or providers with inquiries related to health insurance plans, claims, benefits, billing, and eligibility. This role requires empathy, accuracy, and strict adherence to data privacy and healthcare regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from members or healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate information regarding health insurance benefits, claims status, eligibility, and billing inquiries.
  • Process requests and update member records in internal systems.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved cases to supervisors or support departments when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable healthcare laws and guidelines.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Meet or exceed established performance metrics (AHT, QA scores, etc.).

Requirements

  • Must be a college graduate (any course).
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong customer service orientation and active listening skills.
  • Previous experience in a BPO healthcare account is an advantage but not required.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficient in using computers and basic software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare or medical terms is an advantage but not required.


Preferred Qualifications (not required):

  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, insurance plans, or medical billing terminology.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
  • Experience with CRM or call center software.
