Description
- During the first 3 to 6 months of his/her tenure, the BD Director will act as a single contributor and will primarily be in charge of building up a solid solar PPA pipeline of opportunities
- Identify and develop new B-2-B opportunities in Philippines solar market C&I (Commercial & Industrial)
- Maintain and develop a network of business introducers/partners, drive cold calling campaigns, attend exhibitions/fair to generate a regular flow of new leads/opportunities
- Ensure continuous best efforts to meet quarterly and yearly sales targets
- Assume responsibility of the whole sales process for solar PPA (Power Purchase Agreement): lead generation, offer presentation (financial and technical), contract explanation, negotiation and signature
- Ensure that GreenYellow offer meet customers financial and technical requirements (savings, carbon foot-print reduction, contract duration)
- Drive and coordinate entire commercial process with support of GreenYellow team members (project development, engineering, legal): collection of customers data (electricity bills, load profiles, building design, etc) to ensure accuracy of preliminary and final proposals, solar plant design, PPA agreement preparation and review
- Maintain up-to-date CRM to ensure accurate reporting and visibility on pipeline of opportunities
- Remain customer main point contact after PPA signature to maintain good business relationship during solar PV plant construction
- Keep tracking competitor's offers and behavior; prepare market analysis
- Once GreenYellow business is ramping-up, the BD Director will be in charge of recruiting and training a team of BD Managers to ensure continuous growth.
- Manage team of BD Managers: provide adequate guidance, coaching and support to the team, monitoring of team’s activities, progress. Helps to remove obstacles to reach quarterly and yearly team targets
Requirements
- At least 10 years of Sales/Technical Sales experience in B-2-B sectors
- Experience in selling technical products with long sales cycle is a plus
- Experience in Solar & Energy (sales and/or technical role) or experience in MNC selling Industrial Engineering & Industrial Equipment projects is a plus
- Hunting Spirit
- Management experience (sales team)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent ability to negotiate
- Independent, proactive and results oriented
It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
- Experience in selling technical products with long sales cycle is a plus
