The Opportunity

Our partner is an Australia-based leading communications and Telecom software company, listed on the Australian Stock Exchange since 2006 is looking for a Software Engineer who is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the application. This is a hands-on role that will be developing new features for our customers which meet the needs of our business. As a Software Engineer, you are also involved in building with best practices and resiliency in mind, adhering to agile processes and dealing with business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Development of stable, secure and efficient ITSM workflow solutions.
Proactively support and prevent performance issue son the application.
When an issue occurs, show insight, initiative, and determination to ensure the customer disruption unminimized.
To always leave the ITS scripts, workflows, forms, and objects in a better state than starting.
Your ITSM solutions area adequately tested.
Escalate issues/risks to manager when needed.
Ensure the appropriate consideration is given to testing, security, stability, reliability and monitoring (within a definition of done).
Support the Lead Software Engineer with the end-to-end delivery of the team’ products/platforms

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Strong experience in JavaScript, Minimum 3-5 years of Javascript experience
Exposure to working within a no-code / scripting environment
Experience with webhooks, JSON and XML
Got experience in similar ticketing tools like: Jira, Service now will also a plus point
ITIL knowledge would be regarded favorably
Experience in Python and Golang would be beneficial
Strong experience and exposure to large scale and complex applications.
Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced and geographically distributed environment.
