About The Job
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for carrying out daily treasury activities, along with, maintaining accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of Accounts Payable Transactions.
As Accounting Specialist, You Will…
- Act as Petty Cash Custodian, responsible for issuance of reimbursements, cash advances, and liquidation of the same
- Prepare and release written checks, and ensure to complete inventory
- Perform the timely processing of accounts, payable transactions and systematically monitor supplier’s accounts
- Ensure timely recording of AP Journal Entries with GP Microsoft Dynamics
- Maintain orderliness and completeness of all files for each supplier’s account
- Assist in Month-End and Year-End Closing
- Attend to/coordinate with Auditors on Audit requirements
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned
As Accounting Specialist, You Have…
- Post-secondary degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Finance and/or Accounting is required
- Strong communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
- Superior attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Possess exceptional prioritization skills to complete work in a timely manner
