Job Purpose

A junior product manager assists in conducting market research, gathering and analyzing user feedback and data, defining product requirements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches, and post-launch activities. The role is responsible for delivering improvements to products and managing timelines for individual tasks, working cross functionality to ensure this happens smoothly.

Responsibilities

Work with a cross-functional team to manage the product development process from conception to launch;
Conduct market research to identify trends, needs of customers;
Participate in the development of product specification documents that detail revisions of existing products, and the conception of new products;
Proofread and edit a variety of materials such as implementation documentation, user manuals and presentations;
Provide product launch training & support materials to colleagues/customers;
Collaborate with team members to conduct continuous product improvement, through customer feedback and market trend surveillance;
Serves as a positive and effective liaison between other departments for the purposes of gathering customer feedback and disseminating information pertaining to the status of product development.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field;
Minimum of 1 year experience in product management capacity;
ANSI X12 experience;
Ability to quickly learn and assess new technology;
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret integration guides, file layouts and data;
Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously & complete projects with tight deadlines;
Excellent verbal, written and phone communication skills, and be detail oriented;
Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).
