Pag-asa Steel seeks a Checker who will be responsible for accurate and systematic identification, inspection, and loading finish goods in our warehouses.

• Ensuring that all outgoing goods are accurately checked before loading in terms of quantity, specification, and quality versus actual records
• Ensuring the timely loading of items for delivery and unloading of goods for stocking
• Ensuring that items received from supplier, production or from customer are documented with manual receiving report and stock adjustment report for damaged items
• Reviewing and analyzing inventory of warehouse stocks and recommends necessary actions
• Ensuring that all required documents are attached to the Delivery Receipt before turnover to the trucking personnel
• Supervising the Warehouseman on proper systematic loading
• Recording, and ensuring load accuracy at check-in and check-out by counting and checking all items
• Inspecting all incoming and outgoing trucks, and verifying outbound and inbound inventories
• Performing other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

Preferred candidates will exhibit the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant prior experience
• Prior experience preferred but not mandatory
• Analytical skills and good working knowledge of basic math
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and time management (prioritization) skills
• Service orientation, outstanding interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently
• Superior organization skills, attention to detail, and diligence
• Ability to multi-task, adapt, and learn quickly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and email software mandatory, experience with ERP software a plus
