Description

  • Translate documents, reports, etc., from Chinese to Portuguese (or vice versa), ensuring accuracy and fluency in the translations.
  • Interpretation Support: Provide interpretation services during business meetings, conference calls, and other activities with Portuguese or Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
  • Cultural Adaptation and Communication: Adjust translation strategies to ensure smooth communication and enhance collaboration, considering cultural differences.
  • Translation Quality Management: Proofread and edit translated content to ensure error-free translations, improving overall quality and professionalism.
  • Translation Resource Management: Organize and maintain translation-related materials, create a terminology database, and accumulate translation experience to improve efficiency.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (such as legal, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate translations.
  • Other Related Tasks: Depending on company needs, assist in translating marketing materials, social media content, and other language-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Language Skills: Fluent in Portuguese and Chinese (Mandarin) with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
  • Translation experience between Chinese and Portuguese is preferred.
  • Educational Background: At least a college degree, preferably in language-related fields (such as Portuguese or Chinese). Candidates with strong language skills in other fields are also considered.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment and adaptability to different cultures.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in translation, particularly between Chinese and Portuguese, is preferred.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate well in a team environment and perform tasks under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous work approach with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring the quality of translations.
  • Up to 35 years old
