Description
- Operate heavy trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Transport goods safely, handle paperwork, collect payments, and ensure vehicle maintenance.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Adhere to safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documents.
- Ensure cargo is secured and properly loaded.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Handle minor maintenance and repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: No formal degree required; a valid driver's license is essential.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of driving experience, preferably in transporting goods.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in driving, reliable collector, responsible for maintaining delivery schedules.
- Working Conditions: Varied environments, long hours on the road, and possible overtime.
- Qualities and Traits: Dependable, safety-conscious, strong communication skills, excellent problem-solver.
