- Safely operate and navigate a heavy-duty truck.
- Transport goods to designated locations within scheduled timelines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Requirements
- Job Title: Truck Driver
- Education: High/Senior High School diploma required
- Experience: Less than 1 year of driving experience preferred
- Driver License: 1238 code
- Skills: Proficient driving skills, valid driver's license, road transportation knowledge, and vehicle maintenance abilities
- Responsibilities: Transport goods, maintain vehicle, and adhere to safety regulations
- Working Conditions: Long hours on the road and varying weather conditions
- Qualities: Dependable, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills
