A leading regional bank with a strong presence across Southeast Asia, known for its extensive international network and commitment to supporting corporate and business clients with innovative financial solutions, is looking for a Relationship Manager to join their team


Location: Makati City

Work set-up: - Onsite


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Relationship Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the corporate banking or financial services industry
  • Excellent understanding of the corporate and institutional banking landscape, with a strong network of industry contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, develop tailored financial solutions, and effectively negotiate and close deals
  • Proficient in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications in Banking or Finance would be an advantage
  • Fluency in English and the local language(s) is essential



Job Description:


  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding clients' financial needs and challenges in the field of lending – mainly, corporate banking for corporate accounts
  • Develop and implement comprehensive client relationship management strategies to drive client engagement and loyalty
  • Account packaging, credit analysis and presentation of credit proposal to loan committee
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated financial solutions that address clients' evolving needs
  • Monitor client accounts and portfolios, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor problem loan for negotiation and repayment
  • Make pricing and re-pricing relative to the interest rates of loans
  • Contribute to the bank's overall growth and profitability objectives by driving business development initiatives
  • Represent the bank at industry events and client meetings to enhance the bank's brand and visibility
  • Overall account management and ensuring that all lending activities are in line with the bank policies and the local regulations such as Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas.
