About the Role



We are seeking a talented Purchasing Associate to join our dynamic Sourcing and Procurement team at our BGC site in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our organization's manufacturing, transport and logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and procuring materials and services to ensure efficient supply chain management.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers to meet the organization's purchasing needs

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible terms

• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver timely solutions

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or concerns that arise

• Participate in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies

• Provide regular reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 18months of experience in a purchasing, sourcing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

• Graduate of bachelor's degree

• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address supply chain challenges

• Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems and data analysis tools

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Relevant educational qualifications in supply chain management, logistics or a related field

• Must be willing to work 100% onsite and on graveyard shift.
