Description

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications and over-the-counter products
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations
  • Maintain inventory, restock shelves, and ensure medications are stored properly
  • Prepare medication labels and ensure proper labeling of prescriptions
  • Assist in processing insurance claims and maintaining accurate patient records
  • Handle cash register and process payments for prescription and over-the-counter products
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practices

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Pharmacy Assistant certification preferred)
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terms and medications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software
