What you will do:

• Configure and install network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and software.
• Design and implement server infrastructure, including physical, virtual servers, and cloud systems.
• Configure and manage operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, Hypervisors) and server applications.
• Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with servers, storage, and applications.
• Perform system maintenance tasks such as backups, user account management, and system updates.
• Implement and maintain network security measures (e.g., firewalls, VPNs).
• Ensure systems and networks are secure from internal and external threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of network and system configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Generate reports on network and system performance and usage.
• Work with other IT professionals to design and implement IT solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff.
