About the role



Join our dynamic team at United Steel Technology (STEELTECH) Int'l Corporation as an IT Specialist. In this full-time role based in Manila City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for providing technical support and managing the IT infrastructure to ensure the seamless operation of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Provide first-line technical support to users, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Implement and maintain IT systems, networks, and equipment to meet the company's operational needs
• Monitor system performance, identify and resolve any potential issues
• Assist in the planning, deployment, and configuration of new IT systems and technologies
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth running of IT operations
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and processes
• Provide training and support to end-users on the effective use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar IT support or IT specialist role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Windows and Linux-based systems
• Familiarity with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Good understanding of IT security best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with users at all levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
