Description

Employee Recruitment

  • Proactively respond to the request of Division Heads for new or replacement employees by attracting, evaluating, and hiring qualified individuals who can successfully do the job and deliver valuable contributions to Newcore.
  • Develop, employ and manage the most effective strategies or methods of executing Newcore’s recruitment process; ensuring that the selection criteria are job and culture relevant and will provide meaningful organizational value.


Employee Orientation or Onboarding

  • Provide new employees with sufficient opportunities to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, behaviors, and contacts to effectively transition into and fully understand their new role within Newcore.
  • Ensure that the onboarding process is well-planned and always incorporates orientation, training and/or job-shadowing; thereby facilitating the new employee’s successful performance on the job.


Employee Development

  • Foster employee growth through training and development and continuing professional education.
  • Design, facilitate and/or organize training, education and development programs that are aimed at optimizing individual, team and organizational performance.
  • Strategically align trainings and learning opportunities with career development opportunities for talented employees.
  • Develop and implement a performance management system which assesses an employee’s job performance and productivity based on previously established criteria which are aligned with the goals of Newcore.


Employee Benefits Management

  • Ensure that employees have access to health insurance, retirement benefit and all the other benefits mandated by the governing labor laws
  • Maintain high levels of employee satisfaction and operational efficiency by making sure that employees feel taken care of and secure in return for their investment of time and effort.


Employee Relations

  • Design and implement an employee relations program which provides fair and consistent treatment to all employees; thereby inspiring them to be committed to their jobs and be loyal to Newcore.
  • Maintain a positive and harmonious relationship between employees and the company by promoting transparency and fairness within the organization.
  • Objectively handle disputes between employees as well as disputes between employees and management.


Legal Compliance

  • Ensure legal compliance with all applicable labor laws where Newcore’s business operates.


Requirements

  • College Degree (preferably in the field of Behavioral Science/Psychology/Human Resource Management, business management); a Master’s Degree an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in human resource management and organizational development'
  • Strong executive presence
  • Profound knowledge of human resource management best practices and labor laws
