Job Description:

We are dedicated to promoting Filipino teachers as the preferred choice in global education. We provide a platform for Filipino educators to excel in ESL and expand their career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on the provided materials.
• Encourage students to participate actively and communicate in English.
• Exhibit excellent classroom management and create a conducive learning environment.
• Guide students in achieving curriculum goals by setting clear lesson objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide feedback in the class comments section.

Teacher Qualifications

We prioritize the quality of our teachers, as they play a critical role in achieving our vision. In collaboration with Talk915, we are actively seeking fresh graduates and experienced professionals with the following qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in any field (English or Education is an advantage)
• TESOL, TEFL, or TEYL certification (required)
• PRC license or LET passer (advantageous but not required)
• At least 6 months of online teaching experience
• Excellent English language proficiency with a neutral accent
• Ability to teach students of all ages and backgrounds.
• Available for at least 100 teaching hours per month during peak hours.
• Peak hours: Monday-Friday, 5 PM-10 PM; Saturday-Sunday, 9 AM-10 PM (subject to change)

Skills and Attributes:

• Patience and cultural awareness
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Strong computer skills and reliable internet connection
• Ability to start teaching immediately.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

To ensure high-quality instruction, we require teachers to meet the following technical specifications:

• Processor: 2.0GHz Intel i5 8th Gen or equivalent
• RAM: 4GB
• Hard Drive: 80GB (with 20 GB Available Free Space)
• Video card: Integrated Graphics
• Operating System: Windows 10 or MAC OS 10.10 or later
• Browser: Google Chrome (English Version)
• Internet speed: Minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speed (with LAN/Ethernet Cables) Fiber Internet Connection (DSL, USB sticks, signal-based, and wireless connections are not allowed)
• Backup Power: Generator/UPS/laptop battery/Power Station for power outages
• Backup Internet: Prepaid Wi-Fi or strong mobile data for connection issues
• Headset: USB Headset (combination of microphone and headset) with noise-canceling feature
• Camera: HD Webcam
• Workspace: Quiet, private area conducive to teaching
