The Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for transporting orders from the Commissary, the Roaster, and the Warehouse to the outlets of Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters.

Safety

• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods.

Efficient Deliveries

• Review orders with the Commissary, the Roaster, and the Warehouse.
• Pack and load orders onto trucks according to company’s specifications.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion. Plan alternative routes to minimize driving time.
• Ensure orders and materials are delivered in good condition or the same condition when it was loaded.
• Review deliveries with outlets to ensure items are delivered accurately and complete.

Truck Maintenance

• Report maintenance or operating problems on truck to Warehouse and Logistics Officer immediately.
• Check and repair minor issues on the truck.

• Can drive Manual or Automatic Vehicle
• Professional Driver License code (B, B1, B2)
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.
• Effective communication skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
