Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Assistant will be responsible for executing innovative marketing strategies, managing social media channels, creating compelling content, and ensuring consistent communication across various platforms.


Screening Criteria

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication, or a related field.

• At least one (1) to two (2) years of work experience as a Marketing Assistant

• Advanced digital marketing techniques such as SEO, SEM, or graphic design.

• Must have a stable employment history.

Job Description

• Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.

• Create high-quality content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to resonate with our audience.

• Monitor and respond to social media messages and comments in a timely manner.

• Adhere to social media posting guidelines to ensure maximum visibility and effectiveness.

• Generate monthly social media reports showcasing key metrics and insights.

• Assist in the creation of marketing materials to promote our services and educate our audience.

• Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather information for content development.

• Facilitate communication between different ophthalmology practices within our network.

• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across practices by working closely with Communications and Marketing Managers.

• Design visually appealing graphic elements in collaboration with Marketing Managers.

• Manage all graphic design requests and ensure timely delivery of assets.

• Produce engaging video content for various platforms, including social media and educational purposes.

• Edit video content as necessary and ensure compliance with brand standards.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance video production quality.

• Collaborate with operations to integrate video content into patient-facing platforms.

• Respond to patient feedback and complaints in coordination with the marketing manager.

• Coordinate feedback with the operations team to address any issues promptly.

• Liaise with local marketing liaisons to solicit organic Yelp reviews from patients.

• Respond to all Yelp reviews, utilizing ChatGPT for personalized responses.

• Optimize physician and location directory listings to improve visibility and accuracy.

• Support the team with regular reporting, including weekly and monthly updates on key metrics and projects.

• Update project status on Monday.com and ensure accurate tracking of tasks and milestones.

• Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with website updates and maintenance.

• Manage and post blog content, optimizing for relevant keywords.

Required Qualifications

• A fundamental understanding of office management practices and marketing principles to support the marketing team effectively.

• Ability to efficiently handle and prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and projects stay on track.

• Familiarity with market research techniques and the ability to use databases for gathering valuable market insights and data.

• Excellent knowledge of various software tools, including MS Office (such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), marketing software, and online applications.

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, online analytics platforms, and digital marketing tools such as Google AdWords.

• Proficient in advanced digital marketing techniques such as SEO, SEM, or graphic design.

• Strong skills in email marketing, social media management, and content creation.

• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey marketing messages and ideas.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of marketing materials, content, and reports.

• Adaptability to evolving tasks and priorities in a dynamic marketing environment where projects and campaigns may change or evolve.

• Proficiency in standard software packages and a willingness to learn company-specific software if required to streamline marketing processes and data analysis.
