About the Job
Our esteemed client is looking for a Business Development Manager. As an Internal Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to expand the client’s customer base and maximize revenue from existing customers. Your primary focus will be building strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, keeping close contact with your customers, and ensuring they are aware of their Internal Sales contact for price, availability, and product requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maximize sales through cross-selling and upselling: Manage customer accounts to identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue.
2. Provide accurate and timely quotations: Ensure customers receive up-to-date pricing and product availability information promptly.
3. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers: Maintain regular contact with buyers and decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.
4. Monitor and address customer buying patterns: Proactively identify potential drop-offs and implement strategies to retain customer engagement.
5. Collaborate with External Account Managers: Work together to drive growth in jointly managed accounts and align on sales objectives.
6. Pursue new business and expand existing accounts: Actively onboard new accounts while nurturing and growing relationships with current clients.
7. Engage customers proactively: Conduct 30 meaningful customer interactions daily, primarily via phone, to ensure customer satisfaction and sales opportunities.
Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience as an Internal Account Manager, Sales Development Representative, or Business Development professional.
3. Technical Skills: Strong experience in upselling and cross-selling, B2B, end-to-end sales, and closing sales.
4. Soft Skills: Customer-focused attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, team player with a collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal and time management skills.
5. Language: Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
