  • Our UK-based client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who’s got a sharp eye for numbers, a strong handle on UK payroll, and solid credit control instincts. You’ll be working closely with our teams in the UK and the Philippines keeping financial operations smooth across our growing portfolio of properties.


This is a long-term, full-time role. Perfect for someone who wants consistency, challenge, and growth.


Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time | Follows UK (GMT) business hours
  • Location: Remote (Philippines-based only)
  • Type: Independent Contractor
  • Rate: ₱400/hour (starting, depending on experience)


What you'll be doing:

  • Use Xero, Re-Leased, and Google Sheets to manage bookkeeping tasks across multiple UK property entities
  • Handle accounts receivable, invoicing, and credit control, you’re not afraid to follow up and make the call when rent is overdue
  • Process UK payroll and staff reimbursements
  • Prepare monthly reports (P&L, balance sheets, etc.)
  • Handle VAT submissions and ensure tax compliance
  • Keep financial records organized, clean, and compliant
  • Help improve systems and support new processes as we grow


What we're looking for:

  • At least 4 years of bookkeeping experience; you’ve done the real work, not just data entry
  • Strong UK accounting/payroll background
  • Expert-level knowledge of Xero (certification required)
  • Solid experience with credit control and chasing payments
  • Experience in real estate/property management
  • You’re reliable, resourceful, and proactive
  • You're tech-savvy, organized, and love making processes better
  • Comfortable with phone and email communication in English


Bonus Points if you have:

  • Experience in startups or fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with Re-Leased or other property management tools
