Description
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engines, brakes, and transmissions.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems.
- Maintain records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines and brakes.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in auto maintenance and repair.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and using diagnostic tools.
- Working Conditions: Typical garage environment; may involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, and exposure to noise.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently and in teams.
