The Audio Visual Associate plans and executes video and photo shoots from concept to delivery. They operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment (including strobes and LED panels), and a gimbal stabilizer. This position is also expected to be involved in post-production work such as video editing (assembly, color correction, sound design) and photo selection/editing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production

• Plan and execute video and photo shoots, from concept development to final product delivery.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards

Technical Execution

• Operate professional video and photo cameras, lenses, and related equipment.
• Proficiently use and understand various lighting techniques and equipment (e.g., strobes, softboxes, LED panels) to achieve desired visual effects.
• Expertly operate a gimbal stabilizer for smooth and professional video footage.

Post-Production

• Edit video footage, including assembling, color correcting, and adding sound effects and music.
• Select and edit photographs for optimal impact and clarity.

Other Tasks

• Attend personal continuous development interventions / coaching sessions.
• Attend periodical mandatory training / meeting for compliance purposes (i.e. risk management, health and safety, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia or other similar courses
• Preferably has three (3) years experience in the same field.
• Must possess basic knowledge of editing and cinematography.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise in operating professional video and photo cameras (DSLRs, mirrorless, cinema cameras, etc.), lenses, and accessories.
• Lighting Expertise: Strong understanding of lighting principles and the ability to use various lighting equipment
• (e.g., strobes, softboxes, LED panels, reflectors) to create desired moods and effects.
• Gimbal Operation: Proficient in operating and balancing gimbal stabilizers for smooth and professional video
• capture.
• Audio Recording: Understanding of audio recording techniques and equipment, including microphones,
• mixers, and recorders.
• Video Editing Software: Mastery of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Photo Editing Software: Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar.
• Composition and Storytelling: Strong understanding of visual composition, storytelling principles, and the
• Ability to create compelling narratives through video and photography.
• Editor’s Eye: A keen eye for detail, composition, and pacing, both during shooting and in post-
• production, ensuring high-quality and visually appealing content.
